What better way to discover a new band then by randomly waltzing into one of their concerts? Without knowing a thing about them, being able to decide for yourself how many stars out of 5 they should get, who they sound like, or who they wished they sounded like. I was lucky enough to stumble into a couple concerts while at SXSW.
I saw big pop sounding bands, and I saw one-man industrial/experimental shows. Tons of talented musicians, and some very very weird. After all the shows and Lone Stars, and then later sobering up, there was only one band that I couldn’t stop thinking about. Cordero. A bilingual indie-rock band from Brooklyn. I cant tell you how many stars out of 5 they should get, who they sound like, or who they wished they sounded like. I can do one thing, tell you they are coming to Atlanta.
