Today is the anniversary of Jimi Hendrix’s death in London of an apparent overdose.


Jimi Hendrix’s momentous and famous performance of Wild thing at the monterey festival, 1967. It is a penultimate display of showmanship culminating in the sacrifice of his guitar. A defining moment in rock history.
