If you’re looking for something fun to do on Saturday, might I recommend Lavapalooza?

It’s a party to celebrate the 31st anniversary of Trader Vic’s, along with a benefit for Keep Atlanta Beautiful.

The celebration will begin at 1PM by the downtown Hilton Atlanta poolside. Live entertainment will be provided by Tongo Hiti, headed by Mike Geier of Kingsized, with MonkeyZuma and the Dames A’Flame dancers. There will be multiple food stations and four tiki bars. You can enjoy other Polynesian activities, such as tiki carving and hula lessons along with interactive lei making lead by Steve “The Real Lei Man” Latour. Additionally, Derek Yaniger, local mondo retro artist, will be attending and accompanied by other special guests.

Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 day of show.
