Oh, and take shoes (sneakers) to wear. You will walk a lot, and you will walk through mud, garbage, and vomit. Your feet will get stepped on at the crowded shows. There will of course be lots of people in flip-flops or barefoot, but I’d refrain from that.

You don’t have to camp, you know. I’m not.

Hooray for showers and continental breakfast…

Take lots of water and be prepared to get up early, because your tent will be like a greenhouse in the morning by 8ish.

Wouldn’t bother with much food. You’ll probably be on the concert grounds all day anyway. We brought back most of what we took last year. The exception is granola bars and stuff you can shove in your pockets and snack on during the day. Make sure you have trash bags and flashlights.

Meet your neighbors — they’re good for company and neighborhood watch as long as they’re not douchebags.

baby wipes are cheaper than wetnaps. and those “Brush ups” are pretty awesome (the disposable toothbrush thing that goes on your finger…)

bring plenty of water. it’s easier to get dehydrated out there.

Advice for camping:
Two words
BUG REPELLENT
Get yourself a gallon full of bug repellent especially for the evenings.

If you’re allowing me 4 words then my next two words would be:
WET NAPS
Perfect for cleaning up, sanitizing, etc. Those camp ground loos are going to be pretty grotty after a 4 day concert.
