There are a lot of disturbing music articles in the news this week from MSNBC.

1. Rockers are more likely to die early
I wouldn’t 100% trust that article, because of a lot of differing social factors - including that it’s still recent news that smoking is bad for you, a lot of those artists were around during a drug revolution and musicians then vs now operate completely differently in terms of touring, financial means (previously better off due to higher financial support from record labels), etc.

2. Edie Brickell’s keyboardist shot to death
“The shooting came two days after the enactment of a new state law, nicknamed the “Castle Doctrine,” that gives Texans a stronger legal right to defend themselves with deadly force in their homes, cars and workplaces.”
There are so many things about this line that bother me.

3. Luciano Pavarotti dies at 71

4. Britney won’t give it a rest already
My psychic abilities tell me this is going to flop.

5. The hills are alive… with the sound of people running away
Kelly Clarkson announces fall theater tour

Just to piss off all the people that waited in line for hours upon hours and scaled back to a baked beans diet:
