I skipped Peter, Bjorn and John with The Clientele last night to, *gasp*, workout and study. Quite sad to have missed them but sometimes a girl has to prioritize! I am however hitting up the Andrew Bird with Augie March show tonight at Variety.

I have to say that the Peter, Bjorn and John concert was pretty fabulous. How was the Andrew Bird concert? While standing in line at will call for Peter, Bjorn and John, a lot of people were trying to get tickets for Andrew Bird, but it was sold out.

It was good! I went up to see Andrew Bird in Nashville back in April in support of his latest record (which was amazing) and it didn’t quite compare to that.

The sold-out crowd brought a ton of energy to the room and Andrew professed that he loved Atlanta more than a few times during his set (which everyone loved to hear). Ha. I can’t remember why he said he did but it had something to do with how crazy the crowd was going. Haha. I distinctly remember hearing audience members yelling “rock and roll” and “take it off”, in addition to a handful of other supporting exclamations. ;)

I enjoy Augie March on record, but was honestly bored by them live last night. I think it might have had to do with the size of the room in contract to their sound but I kind of started to daze out.
