Yes, it’s Election Day! Time for Metro Atlanta’s Nov. 6 municipal elections!

I noticed it’s practically impossible to find any useful information if you’re hitting up Google, Yahoo, local blogs, or news outlets in your pursuit, so I’m just going to break it down for you so there will be no questions to ask or excuses to be made. (Yes, your employer is legally required to allow you two hours to go vote!)

That’s pretty much all you need. (Thank you AJC.) Select your county that you are registered to vote in and you will be able to find, when available, candidates’ e-mails, links to websites and related news stories. They have also asked candidates questions, both serious and lighthearted, that they hope will help you make a decision. You can even email them with questions at elections@ajc.com.

I encourage Atlanta bloggers to repost this in hopes that Georgia won’t have a low voter turn out like many states are already seeing, especially due to the new Georgia voting law, requiring ID.
