TWELVE DOLLARS?! who are they kidding?? i’m all about supporting a local theater, particularly one across the street, but twelve dollars is fucking ridiculous, esp for a not-new, not-limited film. dang.

The admission price is for the Spook Show and King Kong. The Spook Show performs for about 30 mins before the movie. So $12 is not that bad for a live show and a movie

No, the movies aren’t new, but they are sometimes limited (like when the Spook Show was the first to run the freshly remastered film from the original Mothra or the Creature from the Black Lagoon in 3d). If they were showing Fletch Lives!, I could understand complaining about $12, but they are showing classics on the big screen. You factor in a crazy live show and you’ve got an entertaining and out of the ordinary night.
