My co-worker, Chris Humber, and I were sitting down in the office working this lovely afternoon in Atlanta. Out of nowhere, we both hear a pop. His iPhone screen had shattered out of nowhere. Like a thin piece of ice when you step on it. Has anyone heard of this??
Check out the iPhone (click to see the full detail):

my friend had put her iphone in her back pocket on her way to get a cover, when she pulled it out to put on the cover she noticed the screen had cracked like a baseball had been thrown at a window. she says it costs around 200 bucks to get it fixed. I wouldn’t say it’s a manufacturer defect or anything i mean it is mineral glass.

@Luis - Man that sucks!! That’s the sort of thing that happens with most of the broken iPhone screens from what I’ve seen online. You break, you buy.
That was the oddest part about Chris’ phone. It was just sitting there flat on the desk by itself!
@Buddy - *envy* I’m waiting for Gen 2.
@Chris H - You’re as cheesy as this blog is. Ha. Glad they got you taken care of! And so fast!
