I can just hear you rejoicing. The refund is usually worth the pain of it. Promise. I finally bit the bullet and filed mine online this morning.
The Georgia Department of Revenue offers a quick guide to where you can e-file for free/cheap.
I always use TurboTax online (though H&R Block is also stellar from what I hear) which optimizes your return and stores past year’s returns for future reference and printing.
Go make Uncle Sam happy or at least file an extension (which you can also do via TurboTax or H&R Block).
NOTE: If you are in Fulton or Dekalb counties, due to the recent Atlanta tornado, you don’t have to file your taxes until May 15. If you choose to do this, you MUST paper file. No e-filing.
