The Westside Arts District (WAD) is a group of commercial galleries and non-profit art spaces located in Westside Atlanta (aka West Midtown / Midtown West) from approximately 11th Street at Northside Drive; to include the Brickworks development at Howell Mill Road and Marietta Street; and South to the Atlanta Contemporary Art Center at Means Street.

The group was formed in January 2009 in order to build upon and further cultivate the growing momentum of the Westside as a world class destination for visual art. WAD members share a common vision – that the Westside is among the most dynamic and exciting areas in Atlanta to view, experience and become educated on high-quality visual art.

To that end, monthly Art Walks will be held the 3rd Saturday of every month from 11am to 5pm beginning February 28. Art talks will be scheduled to encourage public inquiry into the process, intention and inspirations of the artwork and / or curatorial vision of the exhibitions.

Currently, WAD is comprised of 9 dynamic art spaces including the Atlanta Contemporary Art Center, Bobbe Gillis Gallery, Emily Amy Gallery, Get This! Gallery, Kiang Gallery, The Robert C. Williams Paper Museum, SALTWORKS, Sandler Hudson Gallery and Octane Coffee Bar.
