Tinted Windows on Letterman Tonight

Posted :: April 21, 2009 | 5:48 pm ::

Supergroup Tinted Windows will be on the Late Show with David Letterman tonight performing their single “Kind Of A Girl” from their debut album “Tinted Windows,” released today on S-Curve Records.

Entertainment Weekly preaches that “If you don’t like it, your tie’s too wide.” I caught their first show ever down at SXSW last month and I have to say there are some tight pop songs here. Look at the bands each of the respective band members come from — guitarist James Iha, previously of The Smashing Pumpkins and A Perfect Circle, singer Taylor Hanson of Hanson, bassist Adam Schlesinger of Fountains of Wayne and Ivy, and Bun E. Carlos of Cheap Trick. All individually successful pop bands. They were bred for this sort of thing.

Tinted Windows will also be hitting selected cities this Spring.
