In typical suit, a cool new band just announced their first tour and Atlanta isn’t even penciled in. Jack White and his new band, The Dead Weather, featuring Alison Mosshart (The Kills), Jack Lawrence (Raconteurs), and Dean Fertita (Raconteurs/Queens Of The Stone Age), are hitting the road on a 25-date North American tour. The closest they are coming is what looks to be a one-off date in Nashville, where White resides, on July 30th at the War Memorial Auditorium.
Their forthcoming album “Horehound,” due July 14, 2009, is being released on White’s Third Man Records imprint.
