Per my common morning routine, I was chatting with my buddy Shaun Bateman from Resonator:

Shaun: ok, so like, i know you dig the indie rock the kids like, right? with the beards and the dudes, but like i so actively don’t give a fuck about broken social scene? but that cover of love will tear us apart making the blog rounds this morn?
Shaun: SLAYING ME. like i literally can NOT move
Tessa: i haven’t heard it yet
Shaun: oh my fucking GOD
Tessa: this sounds very… stephen merritt
Shaun: I KNOW
Shaun: it’s not all
Shaun: SUP GUYS WE’RE THE BSS
Tessa: hahahahahahaha
