This morning mega-promoter Live Nation announced The Live Nation Club Passport which allows concert fans to see every undersold show at Live Nation clubs in their city through the end of 2009 for a flat $49.99.
The Passport will only be available to purchase for a limited time.
How It Works:
1. Live Nation has already listed concert(s) in each city that are available with Passport
2. Each Monday, Passport holders log on (or Facebook/Twitter) to see the list of participating club shows in their city and to reserve their ticket.
3. Passport holders bring their Live Nation Club Passport number and photo I.D. to the club’s box office and get right in.
Michael Rapino, President and CEO of Live Nation says that with The Live Nation Club Passport they are “helping fans discover up-and-coming artists, and helping those bands build new audiences.”
The Live Nation Club Passport is only valid for participating shows at The Tabernacle in Atlanta.
The only show which is current up for Atlanta is Chevelle on September 26. There are 33 shows booked through the remainder of the year (and we all know both Band Of Horses concerts will sell out) which leaves you with 30 (assuming they skipped over the preceding Disco Biscuits concert) possible shows.
Customers are left to determine their own value odds, based on potential ticket availability. The Live Nation Club Passport is good for one person only and does not guarantee entry.
