A friend of mine at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta recently mentioned to me that swine flu is definitely making it’s rounds in Atlanta, as we have heard in mainstream media. The only people it is affecting are those with compromised immune systems (usually elderly) and young children.
CNN’s chief medical correspondent and Atlanta resident, Dr. Sanjay Gupta, however contracted the disease while in Afghanistan.
Read more about the incident from USA Today.
